Come reconnect to your food system and see how two city folks decided regenerative agriculture was the life for them!

Note: tours and demo’s may be limited in 2024 as we will be busy building a brand new farm! Please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to accommodate if it works for us.

Come Join us, rain or shine, on a tour of a working, and always work in progress, regenerative farm. This tour is intended to educate you on the basics of rotational grazing, animal welfare, and soil health while getting some time with some of Argyle Acres friendliest of creatures. We hope that by reconnecting you with your local food system you can become a more conscious consumer.

We encourage you to bring your children on tours or to demo’s (as long as they can be somewhat contained). We don’t hide death from our daughter. She understands that any meat we eat used to be alive, and she is full-aware the pork chops on the table came from the pigs and the burger came from the red steer, etc. We don’t act like butchering is gross or scary, so she doesn’t either. She is present on the day we butcher chickens and we love when any kid (and adults!) asks questions.

We encourage you to bring any friends and family that can easily move around. All ages welcome.

Please note: Farms are not necessarily accident proof, and they're definitely not weather proof. Come dressed for the weather, in clothes that you won't mind finding mud or manure on at the end of the day. Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes to protect your feet and make it easier to walk on the uneven ground. Bring your own water and a snack.
